How Does the Oval Barrel Tub Actually Work
Unlike an inflatable tub, this one uses a rigid Pacific Cedar shell with a durable plastic interior, built to hold its shape and stand up to daily use without ever needing to be pumped up. The oval shape gives you more room to stretch out than a round barrel tub, and the included cedar step makes it easy to get in and out.
The tub itself does not cool the water. Temperature comes from ice, manual water changes, or the optional chiller add-on.
What's the Difference Between "Just the Tub" and Adding a Chiller
This listing includes the tub only. Without a chiller, you'll bring the water down with ice or by regularly draining and refilling with cold water. This tub is compatible with the .8 HP and 1.0 HP chillers, which cool automatically down to 37°F with WiFi app control for temperature and scheduling. Chillers are purchased separately and are not included with a "Just the Tub" order.
