How Does the Bergamo Actually Work
Infrared saunas heat your body directly with radiant energy instead of heating the air around you first. A traditional steam sauna needs to reach around 190 degrees Fahrenheit to make you sweat. The Bergamo's carbon heating panels reach that same effect at a much lower, more breathable temperature, generally in the 118 to 132 degree range, with the ability to heat up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Bergamo uses 8 Dynamic Low EMF FAR infrared carbon heating panels placed across the rear wall, both side walls, the floor, and the bench, for even heat coverage from multiple directions instead of one single source.
Bergamo vs Bergamo Elite, What's Actually Different
The Bergamo and Bergamo Elite share the exact same cabin size, layout, features, and heating panel placement. The only difference is the heating panels themselves. The standard Bergamo uses Low EMF panels rated between 5 and 10 mG, while the Bergamo Elite uses Ultra Low EMF panels rated between 3 and 5 mG, both measured 2 to 3 inches from the panel surface. If a lower EMF reading matters to you, the Elite is the one to choose. Everything else about the two saunas is identical.

For indoor use only. Exit the sauna immediately if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or uncomfortable in any way. After 3 hours of continuous use, the sauna needs to be shut down for 1 hour before running again.
This sauna requires a dedicated 120V, 20 amp electrical circuit and cannot be connected to a GFCI protected outlet due to the amount of power it draws. Please consult a certified electrician for installation. Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, low or high blood pressure, diabetes, or another medical condition, or if you are taking medication. Do not use alcohol or drugs before or during a sauna session. Never sleep inside the sauna.
Clean the interior with plain water and a soft, damp cloth only. Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosol cleaners, benzene, alcohol, or other chemical cleaning agents, since they can be absorbed into the wood. This product is intended for adults 18 and older.
