How Does the Serena Full Spectrum Actually Work
Infrared saunas heat your body directly instead of heating the air around you. This sauna combines two infrared wavelength types. Far infrared has the longest wavelength and penetrates deepest into tissue. Near infrared works closer to the skin's surface.
The Serena Full Spectrum uses 7 heaters total: 5 near zero EMF FAR infrared carbon panels (2 left wall, 2 right wall, 1 bench) plus 2 near infrared elements on the rear wall, 1,700W combined.
Serena Full Spectrum vs the Standard Serena Line, What's Actually Different
The standard Serena (DYN-6229-01) uses Low EMF FAR panels rated 5 to 10 mG. The Serena Elite (DYN-6229-01 Elite) steps up to Ultra Low EMF FAR panels rated 3 to 5 mG. This Full Spectrum version keeps the FAR panels at an even lower Near Zero EMF rating, under 3 mG, and adds 2 near infrared elements that the other two tiers don't have.
What Does Near Zero EMF and Full Spectrum Actually Mean
EMF is the magnetic field given off by any electrical device. The Serena Full Spectrum's 5 carbon panels are rated Near Zero EMF, under 3 mG measured about two inches from the panel. Its 2 near infrared elements run at a separate, higher rating, about 5 to 7 mG at roughly the same distance. Near infrared heaters use a different heating technology than the carbon panels, which is why the rating is different.

For indoor use only. Exit the sauna immediately if you feel dizzy, sleepy, or uncomfortable. After 3 hours of continuous use, allow the sauna to cool down for 1 hour before resuming.
This sauna requires a dedicated 120V/15amp non-GFCI electrical outlet on its own circuit. Do not share the circuit with another appliance or use a GFCI protected outlet. Keep hands dry when handling cords and connections. Pregnant individuals and anyone with a heart condition, circulatory issue, or other medical condition should consult a physician before use. No alcohol or drugs before or during use, never sleep inside the sauna.
Unplug the sauna before cleaning. Clean only with plain water and a soft, damp cloth. Never use liquid or aerosol cleaners, benzene, alcohol, or other chemical cleaners. They can be absorbed into the wood and released back into the cabin during use. This product is intended for adults 18 and older.

No. The standard Serena (DYN-6229-01) is Low EMF (5 to 10 mG), and the Serena Elite (DYN-6229-01 Elite) is Ultra Low EMF (3 to 5 mG), both FAR infrared only. This Full Spectrum version (DYN-6229-03 FS) has Near Zero EMF FAR panels (under 3 mG) plus 2 additional near infrared elements the other two tiers don't have.
