The Kuusamo is a pure traditional sauna, an electric stove heating sauna rocks, nothing else. Golden Designs also sells hybrid saunas like the Toledo, which include both a Harvia stove and infrared heating panels in the same cabin, though only one heat source runs at a time, not both together. If you want the classic steam and löyly experience, the Kuusamo is the one. If you want the option to switch between stove heat and infrared heat in the same unit, that's the Toledo.

Exit the sauna immediately if you feel dizzy, sleepy, or any discomfort. Traditional sauna use is not recommended above 190°F. Never sleep inside the sauna.
The stove must be installed by a certified, licensed electrician on its own dedicated circuit. Consult a physician before use if you are pregnant or possibly pregnant, or if you have a medical condition such as heart disease or high or low blood pressure. Do not use the sauna after alcohol or drugs, or while on medications that cause drowsiness. Canadian Red Cedar's aroma can, in a small percentage of people, cause a reaction sometimes called Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, with mild skin, eye, or respiratory irritation. Discontinue use if symptoms occur.
Clean with plain water and a soft cloth only. Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosols, benzene, or alcohol. This product is intended for adults 18 and older.
