How Does the Novaa Glow Therapy Mask Actually Work
The mask uses four wavelengths of light, blue 450nm, yellow 580nm, red 630nm and near infrared 830nm. Each of the 108 LEDs is a 4-in-1 bead that can give off all four, so every mode covers your whole face. The LEDs sit inside a flexible silicone mask with a built-in silicone eye shield.
Near infrared light is invisible to the eye. In the near infrared mode you will only see a faint red glow from the LEDs, which is normal.
The Six Light Modes
- Collagen Boost, red light (630nm). For firmness and the look of fine lines. This is the default mode.
- Breakout Defense, blue light (450nm). For breakout-prone skin.
- Redness Relief, yellow light (580nm). For the look of redness.
- Blemish Balance, purple light (red plus blue). For blemish-prone skin that also needs calming.
- Deep Repair, near infrared light (830nm). Reaches deeper layers of the skin.
- Age-Defying Duo, red plus near infrared light (630nm plus 830nm). For the look of fine lines, wrinkles and uneven tone.
How to Use the Novaa Glow Therapy Mask
- Fully charge the controller before your first use.
- Wash your face and let it air dry, or pat it dry with a soft towel.
- Plug the mask's Type-C connector into the port on the controller.
- Hold the mask to your face, then fasten the elastic bands with the Velcro at the back of your head. Adjust the bands so no light leaks around the eye shield.
- Press and hold the power button for 1.5 seconds to turn it on. It starts in red light mode.
- Press the power button to change the light mode. Press the M button to choose a 10, 20 or 30 minute timer.
- Relax for your session. The mask turns off automatically when the time is up.
- Apply your moisturizer or serum afterward.
- Use it 3 to 5 times a week.

Safety Information
Do not use the mask if you are pregnant, have epilepsy or take medication that makes your skin sensitive to light. Do not use it if you are especially sensitive to light unless you have had a light sensitivity test.
Do not use the mask while sleeping, walking or driving.
Use it as directed and avoid excessive use. Stop using it if you feel discomfort, or if redness or discoloration of the skin lasts more than 24 hours, and talk to your dermatologist.
If you have sensitive skin or use active ingredients like retinol or exfoliating acids, start slowly and check with your skincare provider. You may notice gentle warmth, but the mask is not designed to get hot.
The mask is not waterproof. Wipe it with a dry cloth after use, and never rinse it under water. Wipe it clean between users if you share it.
Store it in the storage bag in a cool, shaded place away from direct sunlight and high heat. Keep it out of reach of children. Do not open or try to repair the device.
