How Does the Santiago Actually Work
Far infrared heaters warm your body directly instead of heating all the air around you first. That's why an infrared sauna can deliver the same perspiration and warming effect as a traditional steam sauna at a much lower air temperature, which makes the Santiago easier to sit in and breathe in for a full session.
The Santiago uses 7 Low EMF FAR infrared carbon heating panels for a combined 1,700 watts: two panels on the left wall, two on the rear wall, two on the right wall, and one beneath the bench. That layout surrounds your back, sides, and legs with heat while you sit.

The DYN-6209-02 Elite uses the same 7-panel, 1,700-watt layout but with Ultra Low EMF panels rated 3–5 mG at the same distance. The DYN-6209-03 FS swaps the two rear wall panels for near infrared heating elements, adding near and mid infrared wavelengths on top of far infrared.

What Does Low EMF Actually Mean
An electromagnetic field, or EMF, is produced any time electrical current runs through powered equipment. Infrared sauna heaters naturally generate some EMF while they're on.
The Santiago's carbon heating panels are rated between 5 and 10 mG, measured about two inches from the panel surface. Low EMF does not mean zero EMF. Readings generally drop off the further you sit from a panel.

Do not use after drinking alcohol or taking medication that causes drowsiness. Never sleep inside the sauna. After 3 hours of continuous use, turn it off and let it cool for at least 1 hour.
Unplug before cleaning. Wipe the interior with plain water and a soft, damp cloth only, no chemical cleaners, alcohol, or aerosols. This product is intended for adults 18 and older.
